Fiddan is a homestead with 4 houses and 15 residents in Lyngdal Municipality, Agder, Norway. Here, Knut André Fiddan and Mara Lopes live the good life on a small organic farm in the midst of the forest – Fiddan Øko Gård. After many years in Brazil, we returned to Norway when our daughter Luna was born in 2017.
Drawing inspiration from a background in ecotourism in the Amazon and a healthy dose of adventure, the treetop cabins at Fiddan became a reality. We are still involved withTucan Amazon Lodge, located deep in the Amazon rainforest.
Back in the southern Norwegian woods, the Wilderness Tower was built by the edge of a secluded forest pond. This treetop cabin has been hosting guests since October 2019. Cliff Cabin, situated on a slope atop a wooded hill, opened for guests in April 2023. We have two truly unique treehouses, seamlessly integrated into nature among the trees. Ecology and natural materials from our own forest drive our vision.
Luna, Mara, and Knut André welcome you to Fiddan! Feel free to contact us!
